Muvico Theater 18 and the Chicago Fear Fest
by Chad Savage on Jan.29, 2012, under Dark Art
It's beautiful. Grand. Huge. This theater was designed to impress - state-of-the-art theater design, seating and, in the case of the Premium Packages, downright luxurious. Bogart's, the restaurant/bar where the festival's Zombie Army-driven afterparties will be held, is elegant and spacious, the perfect place for cocktails and socializing.
If you're in or near Chicago, I highly recommend checking out the theater, whether you'll be able to make it to the CFF or not. I'm doubly excited for the Chicago Fear Fest after having visited it myself. To see photos of it and get more information, visit the Muvico website.

Horror/Haunted House Website Owners Take Note: Google Doesn’t Want Your Filthy Money
by Chad Savage on Jan.20, 2012, under ChadRant
It would appear that Google can’t tell the difference between actual depictions of real violence and hand-illustrated / Photoshop-fabricated haunted house marketing imagery:

What cooperation? It’s not like I was given (a) a choice or (b) a means to argue about it.
New Year, New SinisterVisions.com
by Chad Savage on Jan.09, 2012, under Dark Art
I've streamlined the navigation and simplified things significantly; hopefully I've made the site a lot easier to move around in.
Although I still have a little tweaking to do, it's 99% finished and ready for perusing. Even better, it should look exactly the same whether you're in Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer or Safari, on a PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone or Android device (only caveat being, since it is a graphically intensive site, it may take a minute to load on some devices).
I hope you enjoy it!
