I have chosen to step aside from the Haunt and horror design arenas. But I am a senior graphic designer and Art director by day so I completely understand what you are stating. I go through it daily the undercuts by people whose kids know basic functions of photoshop etc. All I can say is hang in there because in the end they all come back round and will never openly admit why they are back to you.
